Reference Number 0000307035 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/11/26 02:00:00 PM CST The Services will require the Contractor to maintain the emergency standby diesel generator in compliance with standards prescribed by the Manitoba Fire Code Regulation 155/2011 issued pursuant to The Fires Prevention and Emergency Response Act (Manitoba), as may be amended from time to time. This will include, but not be limited to, the following code requirements: Monthly: Test generator, min. 30% of rated load for 60 minutes. Every 6 Months: Check and clean crankcase, breathers, governors and linkages on emergency generator sets. Annually: Conduct general engine and generator maintenance and engine tune-ups for emergency generator sets. Every 2 years: Check valve adjustments and torque heads for emergency generator engines. Every 3 years: Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
