Reference Number 0000404334 Delta Township is seeking bids for catch basin cleaning at various township sites. A total of twenty-six (26) catch basins have been identified for cleaning at the Administration Building, Parks Maintenance Facility, Library, Water Operations Facility, booster and lift station sites, fire stations, and various parks. SCOPE OF PROJECT: Twenty-six (26) catch basins within the Township require cleaning. The awarded contractor shall be responsible for cleaning catch basins using a Vactor truck. Upon completion of each job, catch basins must be free of sediment and debris. The degree of cleanliness is to be reasonably determined by the Township Engineer or the Township's contractual designee. The contractor may be recalled to re-clean any unsatisfactorily cleaned basin(s) without charge. The awarded contractor shall be responsible for the proper disposal of all materials collected during the cleaning process with documentation provided on the approved disposal site used (Refer to EGLE Catch Basin Cleaning Activities Guidance). All work shall be in accordance with Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE) state and local regulations. Bid prices furnished on a per structure basis shall cover the proper handling and disposal of materials at an appropriately licensed facility. PROJECT SCHEDULE: The prospective Contractor is advised that should this ITB result in recommendation for award of a contract, the contract will not be in force until it is approved and fully executed by the Township. Upon notice of project award, the Contractor shall coordinate their schedule with the Township to ensure catch basins are cleaned no later than December 31, 2025. No Bidder may withdraw its proposal for a period of 60 days aCer the actual date of opening thereof. This time period may be extended by mutual agreement of the Owner and any Bidder or Bidders. Owner reserves the right to accept any Bid, to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities in the Bids, to negotiate Contract terms with the Successful Bidder, and to disregard all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids. Also, Owner reserves the right to reject the Bid of any Bidder if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to that Bidder, whether because the Bid is not responsive, or the Bidder is unqualified or of doubNul financial ability, or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by Owner.
