Renovation of a mixed-use development in Lansing, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Ingham County seeks proposals from qualified and experienced contractors to enter into a contract for the purpose of furnishing, installing and implementation of a wireless "Nurse Call" and "Employee Duress" system at the Crisis Care Center. The scope of work includes but is not limited to assessing the center's wireless technology needs and ensuring compliance with all applicable building codes and standards. The contractor will design and implement technology systems based on the facility's size, capacity, and staffing levels. Additionally, the contractor will coordinate proper installation of hardware and software, and provide comprehensive training on system operation, management, maintenance, and usage. 2900 Stabler Street, from now on referenced as the Crisis Care Center (CCC), is a refurbished existing building as part of the old Greenlawn McLaren Health Center Campus. The new CCC under direct operation of CMHA CEI will be the new home of four main programs overseen by Community Mental Health Authority of Clinton, Eaton and Ingham County. One program in particular will be a Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU), this is a certified, 72-Hour Mental Health Hold Lockdown Unit. In order to ensure the safety of staff and consumers alike within the entirety of the CCC, a nurse call/staff duress system is required. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. Guarantee shall be in the form of a bid bond executed by an approved surety company, made payable to the County of Ingham. Bid guarantee shall run for a period of not less than ninety (90) days. If the successful proposer fails to furnish satisfactory performance and payment bonds and insurance certificates within ten (10) business days after receipt of Notice of Award, such guarantee shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. The deadline for submitting final questions is no later than 3:00 PM on November 21, 2025. If an addendum is required, it will be issued after this date. Any explanation desired by a Proposer regarding the meaning or interpretation of this RFP and attachments must be requested only to the Ingham County Purchasing Department, at questions@ingham.org. 1) Stryker - PANIC BUTTONS/STAFF DURESS - 65545
