Demolition for a municipal facility in Lexington, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade municipal facility.
The Town of Lexington invites sealed bids for the Central Office Demolition Project, located at 146 Maple Street. DCAMM certification in the demolition category is required. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids if it is in the public interest to do so. Demolition project, located at 146 Maple Street, Lexington, MA 02420 and as more specifically described in the contract specifications. Work is anticipated to include abatement and demolition of the existing 56,000 SF building and foundation, including associated site work. No pre-registration is required. Abatement and demolition of the existing 56,000-SF building and foundation. Project includes associated site work to cap existing utilities, demolish sidewalks and paved areas, and regrade the site. The project monitor(s) will record on a daily basis all quantities removed. The asbestos contractor will be required to do the same. Both the contractor and the monitor must sign UEC daily logs ONLY. No work will continue until all logs are signed daily. At the completion of the total project, should quantities removed were found to be less than the listed below, the asbestos contractor will be required to issue a credit to the owner based on unit prices or will be paid at the unit prices should quantities removed were found to be greater than the listed below.
