The services under this contract include demolition and removal of existing playground structures and construction debris, excavation and removal of all organic matter up to 6", supply, grade and compact sub-base material for PIP Safety Surfacing, installation of playground structures, supply and install flush vertical granite perimeter curbing, supply and install 2 (two) planting places (plantings TBD) - approx. 10' x 15' and 10' x 20'. The contractor is responsible for receiving and offloading equipment. The contractor shall provide temporary construction chain link security fencing around the site perimeter for the duration of the project. The contractor will also be responsible for the installation of site amenities, including up to six benches and/or picnic tables. The Town will purchase and supply the amenities to be installed. Demo and remove existing playground structures, install new equipment. Excavate existing surface and install new poured-in-place surface. install granite curbing and plantings.
