Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Lebanon, Indiana. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The Boone County Highway Department is accepting sealed bids for Project 2025-11, which includes the replacement of Small Structure JE-001 carrying CR 1000 W approximately 0.77 miles north of SR 32, and Small Structure JE-028 carrying CR 275 N approximately 0.12 miles west of CR 1200 W, both in Boone County, Indiana. The work required includes all general construction, labor, materials, tools, equipment, taxes, permits, licenses, insurance, and service costs incidental to and required for this project. Bidders must submit proposals with all required bid documents, including a certified check or acceptable Bidder's Bond for 5% of the proposal amount, and all bids must comply substantially with the provided specifications. Proposals must be properly labeled and submitted by the specified deadline. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to waive informalities and clarify bids as needed. All bids must remain valid for 90 days from the opening date. All questions concerning the letting of this project shall be submitted in writing to the OWNER (Boone County Highway Department. Attention: Highway Projects, 1995 Indianapolis Ave., Lebanon, IN 46052), highwayprojects@co.boone.in.us prior to 12:00 p.m. local time, at least seven (7) consecutive calendar days prior to the Bid Date.
