This project involves the construction of a new single-story 48,500 GSF building that includes an assembly hall, administrative areas, classrooms, training areas, and storage areas. The project is federally funded and subject to the Build America Buy America Act requirements. Qualified and experienced Trade Contractors are invited to submit qualifications for the following thirteen categories of work: Masonry, Miscellaneous & Ornamental Iron, Waterproofing/Dampproofing/Caulking, Roofing & Flashing, Glass & Glazing, Tile, Acoustical Tile, Resilient Floors, Painting, Fire Protection Sprinkler System, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical. Only prequalified firms will be allowed to submit bids for their respective categories of work. The process is the first phase of a two-phase procurement for a Public Construction Manager at Risk Project for the construction of the New Readiness Center at Camp Edwards in Bourne, MA. (MBE & WBE) participation goals for this project are: 4.7% MBE and 7.7% WBE of the GMP. The VBE goal for this Project is 3%. Pre-qualification requirements: Trade Contractor Statement of Qualifications must be submitted. Only prequalified firms will be permitted to submit bids for categories in which they were prequalified. the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) has made the determination not to proceed with trade contractor prequalification at this time. As such, DCAMM is cancelling this Request for Qualifications.
