Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The project consists of sealing the masonry crack in the wall of the Bridge Road Pump Station, removing the existing retaining wall, restoring the ground slope, installing underdrain around the storage tank, and repairing the concrete foundation. Requirements for Davis-Bacon wage rates apply as part of the Ypsilanti Township Ordinance. This project is not federally funded. Domestic requirements such as AIS or BABA do not apply. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond for a sum no less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid will be required with each Bid. Bids shall be enclosed in sealed envelopes plainly marked with the project name and the name of the Bidder. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of the Bids. The Owner reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to reject or accept any Bid/Proposal (including non-conforming, non-responsive, unbalanced, incomplete, or conditional bids or proposals), waive any failure to comply with bid specifications, extend the time for filing, and waive all informalities not including price, time, or changes in the work, or negotiate contract terms with the apparent successful bidder.
