As of April 01, 2026, the project was awarded to Inner City Contracting, LLC, with an awarded amount of $917,574.08. Reference Number 0000409171 Installation of approximately 800-feet of 8-inch water main on Collegewood Street to Stadium View Drive by means of open cut and directional drilling with associated pavement repair and restoration. Replacement of approximately 940-feet of 8-inch water main on Harriet Street from Hawkins Street to Hamilton Street by means of open cut with associated pavement repair and restoration. General Requirements - Certified Payroll - Contractors License Required - Installation Required - Insurance Required - Prevailing Wage Required - Safety Standards Plan Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bid security in the form of a bid bond for a sum no less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid will be required with each Bid. Bids shall be enclosed in sealed envelopes plainly marked with the project name and the name of the bidder. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of the Bids. YCUA believes it would not be in the best interest of the project or YCUA to make an award to that bidder/proposer; to reject the bid or proposal of any bidder/proposer whom YCUA finds, after reasonable inquiry, to be non-responsible; to waive all informalities not including price, time or changes in the work; or, to negotiate contract terms with the apparent successful bidder/proposer.
