Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Spokane, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway; and one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot.
This project consists of the construction of approximately 4,600 cubic yards of excavation and embankment, 7,200 cubic yards of common borrow, 3,900 cubic yards of crushed surfacing, 15,500 square yards of 8-inch thick HMA pavement, 500 linear feet of sidewalk and curb or curb and gutter, 13,300 linear feet of pavement markings, 220 square feet of signs, 18 luminaires, 300 linear feet of high-tension cable barrier removal, 4 cable barrier terminals, traffic control, sundry utility adjustments, and other related miscellaneous items. Bids shall be submitted on the forms provided in accordance with the provisions of the Specifications. Irregular bid proposals will be rejected in accordance with the specifications. A cashier's check, certified check, or surety bond in the sum of five percent (5%) of the Total Project Bid must accompany the bid. The successful bidder shall execute the Contract within ten (10) calendar days after receiving the Contract. Failure to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the stated time will result in forfeiture of the bid proposal deposit. The City of Spokane will normally award the contract or reject bids within forty-five (45) calendar days after the bid opening. If necessary, this deadline may be extended by agreement. The City is using WSDOT's 2025 Standard Specifications. Estimate Low:$2,000,000 Estimate High:$2,750,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
