Renovation of an educational facility in Gray, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.
*As of December 17, 2025 this project has been awarded to Fleenor Security for $57,518.82.* The winning bidder shall provide, install and program a functionally complete intrusion alarm system per manufacturer's guidelines and codes. The intrusion detection system will consist of hard-wired, multiplexed, modular, microprocessor-based controls, intrusion sensors and detection devices and communication links to perform monitoring, alarm and control functions. The intrusion system will allow offsite monitoring of signals via wireless or internet communication. Internet and telephone lines needed for alarm communication will be supplied by WCS. All intrusion equipment will have battery back-up and will remain operational for a time upon loss of AC power. The system shall be based on a modular design and allow expansion of services as well as, open/close monitoring, schedules, video and access integration, progress monitoring, and environmental detection. All wiring will be non-plenum rated, unless otherwise specified, and be point to point homerun from each intrusion device to the intrusion head end center or daisy chained if multiplex technology is used. If device wiring is not feasible wireless intrusion sensors and detection devices will be used. The winning bidder will provide one year parts warranty on all parts and 90 days on labor.
