The work includes the provision by the bidder or contractor of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies necessary to complete the Cedar Mountain Road Stormwater Improvement Project (Location 2). The project is turnkey, requiring minimal involvement from Authority personnel. Work involves removal of approximately 84 linear feet of 48" corrugated metal pipe, two headwalls, and 51 linear feet of 8" water main. The project also includes installation of 47 linear feet of 1'x8 concrete box culvert, two concrete headwalls, 51 linear feet of 8" ductile iron water main pipe, and associated road restoration. All work is to be performed within Authority easements and/or public right-of-way, and all necessary rights-of-way, easements, and permits have been obtained. Interested parties must obtain a copy of the full bid package to be considered responsive. Bid packages are available for a nominal cost by contacting the designated engineering firm. Bids must be sealed and delivered to the Authority before the stated deadline. All prospective bidders must have a current Georgia Utility Contractors License and be, or promptly qualify for inclusion on, the Authority's Approved Contractor List without restriction or probationary status. All bids must include adequate bid security equal to 5% of the total bid price. Award may be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, but the Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or those deemed nonresponsive or from nonresponsible bidders, and may waive technicalities and informalities.
