** As of December 11,2025, project was awarded to McElvany Inc. but awarded amount is not available.** The Central California Irrigation District (CCID or District) is soliciting sealed bids for the modification of existing facilities to integrate new flow control structure within the Poso Canal, an earthen canal located near Dos Palos/Firebaugh, California.Scope of Work The project generally includes: Removal of concrete baffles from the existing outlet structure. Raising existing walls by approximately 2 feet. Construction of a new cast-in-place concrete flow control structure intertying with the existing structure. New structure consists of a concrete floor and footing, and 10-foot-tall vertical walls of varying lengths and thickness as shown in the plan set. Installation of two 36" x 48" gates to be provided by the District. This is a design-build project. The selected contractor will be provided with a 60% plan set containing critical dimensions and relative and/or real elevations. The contractor will be responsible for completing all remaining design work necessary to execute the project. 4. Prevailing Wage Requirements: In accordance with California Labor Code Section 1770, the successful bidder shall pay not less than the prevailing rate of per diem wages as determined by the Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations. 5. DIR Registration: This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. All contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the DIR pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5 prior to award. 6. Bid Security: Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security equal to 10% of the base bid amount. 7. Reservation of Rights: The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informalities or nonresponsiveness, and award the contract to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as deemed in the best interest of the District. 8. Contractor Licensing Requirements: In accordance with California Public Contract Code Section 3300, bidders must possess a valid Class A Contractor's License issued by the State of California at the time of bid opening and throughout the duration of the contract.
