Renovation of a recreation facility in Fallon, Nevada. Working plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade recreation facility.

As of December 3rd, 2025, the bids came in higher than expected, owner is looking into other options. Demo the existing roof, trusses, and the existing swamp coolers. Install new roof trusses, sheathing, and metal roof. Install rain gutters. Remove and replace concrete. Install 40x80 shade structure (shade structure to be supplied by the owner). Install 4,500 SF concrete. Install glass store front entrance with two (2) 3 wide doors and glass roll-up door in existing openings. Rehab existing front facade and swing doors on south side of the building. Install two (2) ground mount coolers with associated electrical, ducts and registers. Install new light fixtures. Spall and crack repair in the existing block walls. Paint interior and exterior Excerpt from the Intl Assoc. of Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers Local 16 and the No. CA Chapter. Western Insulation Contractors Assoc. Lining of all mechanical room surfaces and air handling shafts. The filling and damming of fire stops and penetrations including, but not limited to, electrical and mechanical systems. All foam applications for the purpose of thermal, acoustical, or fire protective purposes, including RTV foams or equivalents, applied to mechanical or electrical systems. All duct lining, and duct wrapping, done on the job site, direct application and installation of fire protection of grease ducts, exhaust systems, or any other ductwork for acoustical or thermal purposes. The insulation of all field joints on pre-insulated underground piping, and the pouring of Gilsilite or its equivalent. Any finish material which is contiguous to the thermal or acoustical application. The preparation, distribution of materials on job sites, assembling, molding, spraying, pouring, mixing, hanging. The work includes a base bid and two options. The base bid involves demolition of the existing roof, trusses, and swamp coolers; installation of new roof trusses, sheathing, and metal roof; installation of rain gutters; removal and replacement of concrete; installation of a 40'x80' shade structure (supplied by the owner); installation of approximately 4,500 square feet of concrete; installation of a glass storefront entrance with two 3' wide doors and a glass roll-up door in existing openings; rehabilitation of the existing front facade and swing doors on the building's south side; installation of two ground mount coolers with associated electrical, ducts, and registers; installation of new light fixtures; spall and crack repair in existing block walls; and painting of the interior and exterior. Bid Alternate 1 includes installation of a new facade on the west side of the building, new concrete, a 20' rolling gate in the existing fence, and pavement striping. Bid Alternate 2 includes cutting out two new openings and installing a glass storefront entrance and a glass roll-up door. Project plans and additional scope details are referenced in specifications attached as Exhibit A, and may be supplemented with more drawings, descriptions, and requirements at the mandatory pre-bid meeting, which will become part of the bid packet.
