The Columbia School District is soliciting proposals for the replacement and installation of a gymnasium video scoreboard system at Battle High School. This project is the first phase of a multi-year initiative that may include the replacement and installation of similar systems at two additional high schools in future phases. Bidders are required to visit the site, familiarize themselves with the conditions, understand actual quantities to be installed, and gather all necessary information to complete the project in its entirety. A mandatory pre-bid walk down will be held, and interested contractors must attend at Battle High School. Only electronic bid submissions will be considered. Bidders must bring a government-issued ID to enter district buildings. SCOPE OF WORK The scope of work for Battle High Gymnasium Video Scoreboard Replacement shall include, but is not limited to, the following: Provide equipment, material, and labor to install. The awarded vendor will provide a complete, turn-key solution including equipment, removal of existing systems, installation, training, and ongoing support. Battle High is the first in a multi-year project that may include two additional high schools in subsequent phases. Additional phases will require cooperative contract pricing and separate board approval. Includes (but is not limited to): 1. Removal & Disposal a. Safely remove and dispose of existing scoreboard and associated components in accordance with local regulations and District guidelines. 2. New Video Scoreboard System a. Furnish and install a complete LED video scoreboard display system appropriate for indoor gymnasium use. b. Minimum resolution of 3.9 mm pixel pitch (or better) is preferred. c. Systems shall include scoreboard functionality (score/time/period/fouls), media playback (video, animation, logos), and advertising capability. d. Must include all supporting components (controller, mounting structure, cabling, etc.). 3. Shot Clocks and Auxiliary Displays a. Include Alternate Pricing to provide and install integrated shot clocks with game timersynchronization. b. Include any additional auxiliary scoreboards or display panels as needed to ensure full visibility from all court areas. 4. Control Software & Hardware a. Furnish an intuitive, user-friendly operating system with control console and interface for scoreboard and video content.
