Site work for a water / sewer project in Shawnee, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The 2026 Shawnee Pipe Repair Project provides for the removal and replacement of up to 2,383 linear feet of pipe ranging from 15" to 60", removal and replacement of up to thirty-eight (38) storm structures (inlets, junction boxes, flared end sections, etc.), and associated site restoration. The project also includes in-place lining of up to 2,578 linear feet of storm sewer pipe ranging in size from 15" to 59"x81". These repairs include work at twenty (20) separate locations and the potential to add up to six (6) additional alternate locations. Six (6) locations also include alternate bid options, which entail the same location with multiple repair alternatives. Incidental construction will also incorporate surface restoration, including concrete curb & gutter, concrete sidewalk, concrete inlet tops, street repair, sod, and other items. EThe Project has a duration of 200 days from Notice to Proceed to reach Substantial Completion and 230 days from Notice to Proceed reach Final Completion. The Owner anticipates the Notice to Proceed will be issued on approximately March 1, 2026. Question Deadline 11/21/2025 at 10:00 AM CT
