**As of January 12, 2026, Project will be rebid but no definite date yet.** The project consists of the installation of approximately 87 linear feet of 8-inch and 253 linear feet of 15-inch SDR-26 PVC gravity sanitary sewers and two new precast concrete manholes, modifications to existing manhole No. 7A, installation of a new 16-inch gate valve, and 35 linear feet of 16-inch PVC C-900 pipe between the wet well and manhole No. 6. The project also includes all necessary excavation, backfill, pavement restoration, and related work as specified and shown on the plan sheets. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the title of the project, the name and address of the bidder, and the division of work. Bids must be submitted on the provided bid forms and accompanied by a bid bond or certified check equal to 5% of the bid amount. Conditional or qualified bids will not be accepted. Performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract price are required from the successful bidder. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive any formalities, and to ensure bidders meet all qualifications, as outlined in the bidding documents. Bids not on the plan holders list will be returned unopened. No bidder may withdraw their bid for ninety days after the scheduled receipt time. Bids must include all information requested by Indiana Form 96, including a financial statement. The owner will investigate the ability of the bidder to perform the work and may reject any bid based on such investigations. Award will be made to the low, responsive, and responsible bidder, solely at the owner's discretion. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for Opening of Bids may not be answered Construction of approximately 87 LF of 8-inch and 253 LF of 15-inch PVC SDR 26 combined storm and sanitary sewer and 2 new precast manholes. The new gravity sewer will run north from existing Manhole 7A 87 LF to new Manhole 4A. The new sewer will turn east and run 222 LF to new Manhole 6A. From there the new sewer will run south into the existing wetwell. The pipeline installation is to be accomplished though open cut, will range from approximately 14 to 24 feet deep, and HMA pavement restoration will be required. The plugging of the line between Manholes 7A and 6 shall only be completed once the new gravity sewer has been installed and is operational. Manhole 7A will be filled with concrete to create a new invert making it approximately 14 feet deep, and this cannot be completed until the new gravity system is operational as well. Bypass pumping of sewage will be needed. Valves: a. A new 16-inch gate valve shall be installed at a depth of approximately 10 feet between the existing lift station wet well and existing Manhole 6 along a new 35 foot stretch of 16-inch PVC C900 gravity sewer.
