Bids are requested for furnishing and supplying materials to the Dearborn County Highway Department for the calendar year 2026. All materials will be purchased as needed and in an amount not in excess of the appropriation for the same. Bids must be submitted using the attached Asphalt Bid Form without modifications. Bidders must be authorized to do business in the State of Indiana and provide proof of good standing with the Secretary of State of Indiana and the Indiana Department of Revenue. Any business using an assumed name must file an assumed name petition. The successful bidder shall perform testing of materials for compliance to specifications per County request. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to accept the one deemed in the best interest of Dearborn County, considering the best and/or lowest responsive and responsible bidder for each line or class of materials. Base Liquid Asphalt Price is set at $700.00 per liquid ton, with price adjustments of $1.25 per ton for each $25 per liquid ton increase or decrease, requiring submission of the current liquid asphalt price invoice to the County at the start of each month. Suppliers and subcontractors must adhere to Federal & State Labor Regulations, Equal Employment Opportunity, Non-segregated Facilities, Americans with Disabilities Act, and Affirmative Action requirements, ensuring non-discrimination based on race, color, age, religion, sex, disability, national origin, or income status.
