Demolition, site work and addition to a municipal facility in South Plainfield, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the addition of a 170-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

The work includes, but is not limited to, demolition of the existing concrete sidewalk and storefront system. Construction of a new 170 square foot enclosure with roof structure and EPDM roof finish. Metal stud framing with painted gypsum board finish. New storefront system with low energy power operated automatic door openers. New ceiling and light fixtures in the vestibule and adjacent lobby. Vestibule floor finish to be walk-off carpet. Bidders must submit a sealed envelope clearly marked with the Title of the Work and provide an original and one copy of the following: a completed bid proposal form, a bid security in an amount not less than ten percent of the total bid (not to exceed $20,000), a consent of surety for bonds as required, a corporate disclosure statement, certificate of authority if a foreign corporation, New Jersey business registration certificate and public works contractor registration act certificates for the bidder and all designated subcontractors, acknowledgment of receipt of changes, a non-collusion affidavit, affirmative action documentation, documentation concerning Russia-Belarus and Iran activities, contractor's qualification statement, contractor's sworn statement including attachments per New Jersey law, contractor certification of compliance with prevailing wage act, and a bid document submission checklist. Site visitation is required by appointment. Requests for additional funds due to site conditions that could have been identified by inspection prior to bidding will not be considered. Bidders and Sub-bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall make a written request which shall reach the Architect at least ten (10) days prior to the date for receipt of Bids. A Bidder submitting a Bid in response to these Bidding Documents, except the extent of requests for any clarification or interpretation of the bidding Documents as set forth above, shall be considered to have affirmatively accepted and acknowledged that no further clarification or interpretation is required and that no errors, inconsistencies or ambiguities exist within these Bidding Documents that would have any effect on the amount set forth in the Bid. No oral explanation in regard to the meaning of drawings or specifications will be made and no oral instructions will be given before award of the contract.
