Remodeling of an educational facility in Glenwood, Illinois. Completed plans call for the remodel of a one-story above grade educational facility.
Sealed bids are invited for the ADA Restroom Accommodations for the Faculty Lounge at Hickory Bend Elementary School. Lump sum bid proposals are required, accompanied by a Bid Guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Bank Draft, equal to at least ten percent of the bid, payable to the Board of Education, Brookwood School District 167. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond in the full contract amount. Bids are to be submitted in an opaque sealed envelope clearly marked as SEALED BID. Each bidder must complete the qualification process as described in Section 004395 - General Requirements of the Project Manual, and provide required Qualification Documents with the sealed bid. The Contract is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive irregularities or informalities in bidding. A mandatory pre-bid walk-through for Prime contractors will be held at Hickory Bend Elementary School. Subcontractors are encouraged, but not required, to attend. Non-attendance at the walk-through can be grounds for bid rejection. Question Deadline 12/08/2025 Submit requests for interpretation of the documents in writing to the Architect. Inquiries received two or more days prior to the date fixed for opening of the Bids will be given consideration.
