Renovation of an educational facility in Glenwood, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.
Sealed bids are requested for the Mechanical Rooftop Unit Replacement at Hickory Bend Elementary School. Bids must be submitted as Lump Sum proposals, delivered in an opaque sealed envelope clearly marked as SEALED BID and addressed to the business manager at Brookwood School District 167. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Bank Draft equal to not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid, payable to the Board of Education, Brookwood School District 167. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond for the full contract amount. All bids must comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders must complete the qualification process as described in Section 004395 - General Requirements by providing Qualification Documents at the same time and place as the bid submission. There is a mandatory pre-bid meeting walk-through for prime contractors at Hickory Bend Elementary School. Non-attendance may result in rejection of the bid. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any irregularities or informalities in bidding.
