**As of February 5th, 2026, the project was awarded to Excavation Point, Inc., with an awarded amount of $120,494.45** Character and amount of security to be furnished by each bidder are stated in the bid documents. The principal features of the Contract include The work of this contract generally consists of milling and resurfacing the pavement for Downing Circle, in Wauchula, Florida. The existing pavement surface shall be milled to a depth of 1-inch. The milled surface shall then be overlaid with 1 1/4 inches of SP-9.5 asphaltic concrete surface course. Two ADA Mats, Crosswalk, Stop bars and 6" Double Yellow Striping shall be placed as shown on the plans. The Contractor shall be responsible for all Maintenance of Traffic. All workmanship and materials shall be in accordance with the Florida Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction (Latest Edition). Downing Circle Repaving Project Scope of work: Paving and resurfacing of highways and roads, as well as major and residential streets. Instructions to bidders: None provided.
