The Project Includes the Following Work: The Proposed Project is for Restoration of the Historic Samuel P Paul House. Work Will Include Restoration on the Exterior of the Structure and Interior Restoration of the Basement and Main Floors. Including Exterior Masonry Restoration and Repointing Repair and Replacement of Wood Windows, Doors and Trim. Concrete and Wood Structural Reinforcement, Interior Plaster and Wood Restoration and Related Work. Bids Must Be Accompanied by a Certificate of Surety From an Acceptable Surety and a Bid Security in the Form of a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond Payable to the Borough of Paulsboro in the Amount of Five Percent (5%) of the Total Bid Amount. The Successful Bidder Must Furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, Each in the Amount Equal to ONE Hundred Percent (100%) of the Total Contract Price. Said Certificate of Surety and Bonds Must Be in a Form Acceptable to the Owner and Be Issued by a Surety Company Listed on the United States Treasury Department Circular 570 and the New Jersey List of Approved Surety Companies. The Last Day for Bidders' Questions is Thursday May 7, 2026 at 5:00 Pm. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Architect in writing. The Successful Bidder Must Also Furnish an Initial Project Manning Report (Aa201) Upon Execution of the Agreement. Contractor is Advised of the Responsibility to File an Annual Disclosure Statement on Political Contributions With the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission Pursuant to N.j.s.a. 19:44a-20.13 (P.l. 2005, C271, S3) if the Contractor Receives Contracts in Excess of $50,000.00 From Public Entities in a Calendar Year. Said Certificate of Surety and Bonds Must Be in a Form Acceptable to the Owner and Be Issued by a Surety Company Listed on the United States Treasury Department Circular 570 and the New Jersey List of Approved Surety Companies. No Bidder May Withdraw Its Bid for a Period of Sixty (60) Days After the Actual Date of the Opening of the Bids.
