The work includes, but is not limited to, all labor, materials, tools, oversight, and permits required to demolish the property at 229 Van Dine Street, Bloomsburg, PA 17815 in its entirety. This project requires asbestos abatement supervision. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder. The awarded contractor is required to establish a 3% goal for female participation and a 5% goal for minority participation in their aggregate on-site construction workforce for contracts exceeding $10,000. The contractor must also utilize local area businesses, trainees, employees, and low-moderate income persons to reach a goal of 10%. Bidders must submit documentary evidence of minority and women business enterprises who have been contacted and commitments made, with such documentation submitted concurrently with the bid.
