Renovation of a mixed-use development in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and educational facility.
Sealed bids will be received from contractors with at least 3 years experience in providing environmental remediation and abatement projects within Pennsylvania K-12 school buildings. The work to be performed consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to conduct environmental remediation and mechanical system (ventilation) upgrades within crawl spaces throughout district buildings. The sealed bid must be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope or package as Crawl Space Remediation and Mechanical System (ventilation) Upgrade Project Bid. The sealed bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond or bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount. All bids must remain valid for a period of 60 days. The project specification manual will be available exclusively at the mandatory pre-bid meeting. The cost for the specification manual is $75.00 and should be payable to JMSI Environmental Corp. A mandatory pre-bid conference and tour of 5 buildings and crawl spaces will be held. Contractor representatives shall be responsible for their own PPE. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions of bids.
