Replacement of the existing air handling unit and outside condensing unit, providing an energy recovery ventilator, reheat coil, pad, ductwork, refrigerant piping, electrical panel, and related work at the office spaces in Kerem Lodge of New Windsor Cantonment State Historic Site, 374 Temple Hill Road, New Windsor, New York 12553. Sealed bids must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be accompanied by a scanned Bid Security in the form of a certified check, bank check, or bid bond in the specified amount. The original hardcopy bid bonds for the two lowest bidders must be postmarked and sent via certified mail within 48 hours of receiving the bid summary from the Office. This is a WICKS Exempt Project. WICKS Exempt Projects require a completed OPRHP_WE_1 to be filled out and submitted in accordance with Supplemental Instructions to Bidders - Wick Exempt. Failure to submit this form correctly will result in a disqualification of the bid. Minority Owned Business Enterprise (MBE) Good Faith Effort, Women Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) Good Faith Effort, and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOB) Good Faith Effort participation goals have been established for this project. For contracts over $5,000, any responsible and reliable NYS-certified Minority or Women-Owned Business Enterprise that submits a bid within ten percent of the lowest bid will be deemed the apparent low bidder, provided that the bid is $1,677,139 or less. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond/Payment Bond, each for 100% of the amount of the Contract. Contractors and subcontractors are required to register with the Bureau of Public Work and Prevailing Wage Enforcement for public work before bidding and must submit a digital copy of their company's registration certificate with their bid. The apparent low bidder must also provide registration certificates for all subcontractors on the approved Utilization Plan before subcontractors commence work. The successful bidder will be required to furnish an Executive Order No. 16 certification form prior to contract award.
