The scope of work includes on-call nonhazardous waste removal and disposal services at the Wastewater Treatment Plant and associated sanitation facilities within the City. Services generally include, but are not limited to, removal of grease, oil, and fats (FOG) from various plant structures. The Contractor is responsible for the safe and efficient removal, transportation, and disposal of waste in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulatory requirements. Services may include pumping, cleaning, and proper documentation of waste removal activities, with all removal and disposal performed according to regulatory requirements. Bids must be clearly marked as 'SEALED BID PROPOSAL FOR ON-CALL NONHAZARDOUS WASTE REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL SERVICES AT THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT - DO NOT OPEN WITH REGULAR MAIL.' All responsive bids will be reviewed and evaluated to determine which Bidder best meets the City’s needs, demonstrating the competence and professional qualifications required for satisfactory performance. The City reserves the right to award the bid to a Bidder other than the lowest, reduce the scope of work, and reject any or all bids or waive any irregularities in the bid process.
