The scope of services is to provide professional pump repair services. Bidders must check the City's website periodically for any addenda issued and acknowledge inclusion in their bid documents. The work contemplated by this NIB is a public work subject to prevailing wages under California Labor Code Section 1770 et. seq.The successful Contractor(s) will be required to pay not less than the prevailing rate of per diem wages as determined by the California Department of Industrial Relations in effect on the date the work is performed. All Bidders must provide a bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price. All responsive bid packages shall be reviewed and evaluated by the CITY to determine which Bidder best meets the CITY's needs for this Project by demonstrating the competence and professional qualifications necessary for the satisfactory performance of the required services. The criteria by which the CITY shall evaluate bids are set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. The CITY reserves the right to award the bid to a Bidder other than the lowest Bidder if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the CITY. The CITY also reserves the right to reduce the scope of work at any time and to reject any and all bids or waive any irregularities in any bid process. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. "Requests for proposals for design services is underway."
