Punxsutawney Area School District is accepting bids for procurement of capital kitchen equipment. Bid specifications and proposal forms are available online under the Business Office section or at the PASD Administrative Offices. Sealed proposals must be clearly marked as "Procurement of Capital Kitchen Equipment." The School Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to award the proposals in the best interest of the School District. The successful Bidder will be responsible for providing delivery and training (upon request) of capital equipment at the Punxsutawney Area High and Elementary Schools that meets at a minimum offollowing requirements [NOTE: It is not the intent to limit the Bidder, the Bid or the evaluation ofthe Bid to any one material or product specified but rather to describe the minimum standard. When proprietary names are used in these Technical Specifications, they shall be followed (or presume they are followed) by the words "or alternatives ofthe quality necessary to meet the specifications." It is the responsibility ofthe Bidder to provide information to the District to illustrate the proposed alternative meets the specified minimum standard and otherwise meets the Specifications outlined herein. A bid containing an alternative which does not meet the specifications may be declared to be nonresponsive. A bid containing an alternative may be accepted but, if an award is made to that Bidder, the Bidder will be required to replace any alternatives which do not meet the Specifications at the price quoted in the Bid. The Punxsutawney Area School District reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all parts of this bid.
