Sealed proposals are requested for all labor, tools, materials, and equipment required to construct TRAIL & SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS - SECTION IV for Sanitary and Improvement District 312, Sarpy County, Nebraska, as per the plans and specifications at the locations shown on the drawings and in the specifications now on file. The approximate quantities include constructing 6" PCC multi-use trail, 5" PCC sidewalk, PCC curb ramp, detectable warning panel, installing silt fence, constructing segmental retaining wall, installing rolled erosion control mat with seeding (Type A), drilling and grouting tie bars, excavation, sawcutting and removing pavement, installing 7" PCC pavement with integral curb, permanent paint marking, removing paint marking, furnishing and installing crosswalk sign (W11-2), ahead sign (W16-9P), City of Papillion breakaway pole system, 42" black vinyl coated chain link fence, and providing traffic control. All proposals must be submitted on bid forms provided, accompanied by an original bid bond or certified check of not less than $18,800 payable to the Treasurer of Sanitary and Improvement District 312 as security. The contract and maintenance bond must be for 100% of the contract price. Bid bonds must be executed by a licensed corporate surety. Proposals must remain open for sixty (60) days after the bid opening. All proposals must be sealed, properly marked, and addressed as specified. Bid security should be in a separate sealed envelope. Late proposals will be returned unopened. The responsible bidder with the lowest acceptable bid in accordance with plans, specifications, and law will be awarded the contract. Plans, specifications, and contract documents may be obtained at E & A Consulting Group, Inc., for a non-refundable fee. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
