Question Deadline 12/02/2025 Written requests for interpretation or clarification of any portion of the contract documents shall be answered by the engineer with Addenda, if such requests are received more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled bid opening time. The scope of work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, plant, and any other items necessary for the construction of improvements for the Sarpy West Industrial Sanitary Sewer, Storm Sewer, and Paving - Section 2. The work includes, but is not limited to, installing silt fence, curb inlet protection, concrete washout, constructing flowable fill, removing pavement and unsuitable material, subgrade preparation, constructing temporary turnaround pavement and various concrete pavements, constructing aggregate bedding and storm sewer pipes, sanitary sewer pipes, manholes, installation of erosion matting, rip-rap, seeding, and all related preparatory and subsidiary work. The Engineer's estimate for this work is $580,000.00. Each bid must be accompanied in a separate sealed envelope by a certified check drawn on a bank insured by the FDIC in the amount of $29,000.00, payable unconditionally to the Treasurer of Sanitary and Improvement District No. 374 of Sarpy County, Nebraska, or a bid bond for a like amount. This is as evidence of good faith and as agreed upon liquidated damages should the accepted bidder fail to enter into contract within ten days after the Notice of Award and furnish acceptable bond to complete the work. Such bond must be in the amount of 100% of the total bid price. No bidder may withdraw their proposal for thirty days after the bid opening. Plans and specifications may be obtained at the offices of Standard Digital Imaging or the Engineer. All costs associated with obtaining documents are the responsibility of the bidder and are non-refundable. Only those listed on the plan holders lists will be eligible to submit bids. The District reserves the right to waive formalities and to reject all or any bids.
