Renovation of an educational facility in Addison, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 28,931-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.
Sealed bids will be received for the 2026 Capital Improvements at Addison School District 4. Lump sum bid proposals are required and will be publicly opened at the specified time. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at Wesley Elementary School, and contractors planning to attend must present a valid identification. Bid security in the form of a bid bond equal to 10 percent of the base bid amount must be submitted, made payable to the Board of Education Addison School District 4. Bids must be submitted in an opaque sealed envelope, clearly marked with the Bid Package number and addressed appropriately. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities or informalities, and make the award in the best interest of the District. Bidders must comply with Illinois Law regarding prevailing wages, statutory labor requirements, and Equal Employment Opportunity Laws.
