Site work and new construction of an industrial development in McHenry, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a 6,000-square-foot, one-story above grade industrial development.
The proposed project consists of concrete foundations, slab on grade, masonry wainscot, HVAC, and Electrical work for a new 6,000 SF maintenance barn at the Freshman Campus. The building structure and roofing will be by others. Prospective bidders are to contact Kari Christensen at Lamp Incorporated to be placed on the bid list and access bidding documents via SmartBid. All contractors must have a Lamp Incorporated Qualification Statement on file, updated within the last year. Qualification statements are due by 5:00 pm on Monday, December 1, 2025. A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 10% of the bid must accompany the Bid Form. The successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond equal to 100% of the bid amount and submit a Certificate of Insurance within ten days of contract award. Prevailing Wage must be paid and certified payroll records must be submitted according to the Prevailing Wage Act. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or waive bid irregularities. This project is tax exempt. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is strongly urged for a thorough understanding of project requirements.
