The work includes the supply and installation of a liquid oxygen (LOX) atmospheric vaporizer system with a continuous supply rating of 100 tons per day (TPD) of gaseous oxygen. This includes all foundations, equipment, automatic switching valve module, piping, valving, instrumentation, signal wiring, and electrical necessary for a complete and operating LOX vaporizer system with the required production capacity. New piping, valves, and other appurtenances from the bulk LOX tanks to the main oxygen feed header downstream of the vaporizers are also required. The scope further includes the removal of the existing LOX water bath vaporization system, including piping, coils, and other connected equipment. The allotted construction time for the project is 210 calendar days. All materials, labor, tools, equipment, and appurtenances necessary for construction must be furnished. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of five percent of the bid, from a surety company licensed in Tennessee and listed in the latest U.S. Treasury Circular 570. Bids may not be withdrawn within 120 days after the scheduled bid receipt time. All bidders must comply with the State of Tennessee Contractors Licensing Act. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and payment bonds each in the amount of 100 percent of the bid. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to re-advertise. Question Deadline 12/11/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Owner in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Owner in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Owner as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
