Renovation of a multi-residential development in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade multi-residential development.
Housing Authority Of The Cherokee Nation Rehabilitation Of One Home Adair County - Carpentry The Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation is seeking bids from interested parties for the rehabilitation of one home located in Adair County. Work must be completed according to the work write-up, and the job must be finished within 15 working days. Work should begin within two weeks of notification or liquidated damages of $100.00 per day will be charged for each working day beyond the contract end date. To be considered responsive or responsible, bidders must fully complete the Mandatory Bid Response sheet and the Work Write Up. Preference is given to bidders who are TERO certified through the Cherokee Nation Tribal Employment Rights Office, and proof of certification must accompany submittals. The successful bidder will be required to comply with Tribal rules and regulations and TERO requirements. The purchase order will be awarded to the contractor providing the lowest, most responsive bid in accordance with the HACN Procurement Policy, subject to availability of funds. Instructions to bidders: The deadline for bids is specified. Bids may be e-mailed or hand delivered. Bidders are responsible for ensuring delivery of bids, and late bids will not be considered. Both Indian and Non-Indian bidders may submit bids, but Indian preference will be given as outlined. Bidders are responsible for all costs related to bid preparation and submission. No bids may be withdrawn within 30 days after the due date. HACN reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The project is subject to Section 7(b) of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act and Cherokee Nation TERO requirements. The successful bidder must complete the TERO Labor Agreement and pay all applicable fees, including a percentage of the contract award and fees per non-Indian employee working on the project.
