Renovation of a mixed-use development in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 227,237-square-foot, one-story above grade museum; and one-story above grade office development.
Renovation of the NCDOT Transportation Complex, specifically the 3rd Floor Financial Management Division Alteration and Art Museum Room 308 Renovation at 1 S. Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC, SCO ID# 24-28340-01A. Bidders must attend a mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting and HUB Outreach meeting at the project site to be eligible to submit bids. Complete plans and specifications are available from Progressive Companies. The state reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals. The Work of this Project is as defined by the Contract Documents prepared by Progressive AE, 800 Taylor Street, Suite 9A-154, Durham, NC 27701, dated October 30, 2025. The project is located on the 3rd floor of the NC DOT - Transportation Complex, located at 1 S. Wilmington St., Raleigh, NC 27601. The work consists of reconfiguration of Break Room 308 and Open Office in the Art Museum, and Offices 343, 345, 347, 349 in the Annex Building. A break counter with sink will be installed in Room 308 in the Art Museum. Office pods (a single and a double) will be added in the open office area of the 3rd floor Art Museum. Offices 343, 345, 347, and open office 349 the following work is going to be provided: existing ceilings and ceiling grid will be replaced; existing lighting will be replaced with LED lighting; HVAC supply duct will be brought up to current codes; ceiling mounted return grilles and supply diffusers will be replaced; existing above ceiling electrical code deficiencies will be brough up to current codes; painting of renovated spaces will be included.
