Bids are invited for the Ovalle Lateral Drainage Improvements in Santa Rosa, Texas. The scope of work includes approximately 7,218 CY of excavation and hauling of ditch material, installation of inlets and RCP storm sewer, and asphalt street repairs for installation of RCP. All contractors and subcontractors must not be suspended or debarred and must adhere to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. The federally determined prevailing Davis-Bacon and Related Acts wage rate must be paid on this project. The successful bidder must ensure nondiscrimination in employment. Adherence to the Section 3 Policy is required. Minority, small, women, Section 3 businesses, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to bid. Bid instructions: Bids must be received by the designated deadline; late bids will be returned unopened. Each bid must include a bid bond of 5 percent of the bid amount or a certified check, bank draft, or negotiable U.S. Government Bond in lieu of a bid bond.
