Professional services are sought for architecture, landscape architecture, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, threshold inspections, interior design, space planning, industrial engineering, emergency management, systems engineering, noise abatement, vibration engineering, materials testing, geotechnical testing, antenna and propagation, civil engineering, traffic studies, street lighting, signals, roadways, bridges, transportation, right-of-way acquisition, project development and environmental/public involvement, public facility comprehensive planning concurrence, parking, environmental, site assessments, recycling, solid and hazardous waste, disaster debris, waste-to-energy, rate studies, stationary tanks, hydrocarbon management, energy, water, waste water, sewer, utility location/vacuum excavation, storm drainage, DRI, facility plan review or subdivision review, planning, design, construction administration, engineering or inspection, scheduling, drafting/CAD services, preparation of plans and specifications for new construction, alterations, maintenance, or repair projects at various buildings, general land and topographic surveys, mapping, aerial photogrammetry, layouts for transportation, water, sanitary, storm sewer or other construction projects, or such other services as may be performed by an architect, professional engineer, landscape architect, or registered surveyor and mapper in connection with professional employment or practice. Firms must submit a single searchable PDF file including the RFQ Transmittal Memorandum, a Letter of Interest addressed to the Selection & Certification Committee Chair, a Statement of Qualifications, and any supplemental material for evaluation based on specific criteria/point system. The submission is evaluated on areas such as the firm's in-house specialization and experience, SLBE certification with the City, Standard Form 330 or equivalent, performance on previous City projects, staffing, and "Ban-The-Box" documentation. The City owns all materials and documents developed as a result of this solicitation and reserves the right to modify, withdraw, or reject any or all responses as it determines in its best interest. Firms must be licensed and provide evidence of licenses, certificates, or registrations as required. Compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and codes is mandatory, and certain ethical and legal certifications must also be assured.
