The work consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required by the plans, specifications, and contract documents for the La Brea Avenue Pedestrian Lighting Improvement Project. The general items of work include replacing existing pedestrian light fixtures with new ones, installing new pedestrian light fixtures, installing new conduits and wiring, and other related items required by the plans and specifications. Bidders are required to submit all Proposal Documents electronically as specified, including a certified or cashier's check, or bidder's bond, for no less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price. The successful bidder must possess a valid California State Contractor's License Class A at the time of bid submittal. Additional requirements regarding prevailing wage rates, apprenticeship, and non-discrimination in employment practices apply. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder as determined by the City of West Hollywood, with the right reserved to reject any or all bids or waive any irregularities if deemed necessary.
