This project is an upgrade to a segment of the existing North Bay Aqueduct pipeline that parallels the Silverado Trail and crosses the Conn Creek floodway to provide water to the City of Calistoga. The project involves removing the concrete cap and existing 12” pipeline from the creek to avoid impeding fish passage. The new pipeline, which will be increased to a 16” diameter ductile iron pipe for additional capacity, will be mounted on the Caltrans bridge using the previously installed inserts. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and performing all work necessary and incidental to the construction as detailed in the drawings, specifications, and contract documents, as well as any other required work as directed by the Engineer or their representative. This is a FEMA funded project, subject to Department of Industrial Relations compliance monitoring, Davis-Bacon Act compliance, and DBE requirements through the "Good Faith Effort" process. All bidders must purchase a complete bid set to be added to the plan holder’s list and to receive addenda notifications. Bidders are responsible for their bids whether or not they attend the non-mandatory pre-bid meeting.
