A short-listing of Contractors will be based on the evaluation of proposals submitted and the selection criteria outlined in the solicitation documents contained herein. Short-listed Contractors will be invited to submit bids on the project. The only Contractors allowed to bid on this project will be Contractors short-listed by the selection committee. All Contractors responding to this procurement must comply with and require all of their Subcontractors to comply with the license laws as required by the State of Utah. Remove and replace the existing fire alarm system in accordance with the provided contract documents. Perform necessary repairs, patching, and painting to affected areas, including but not limited to ceiling tiles, walls, hard lids, rated walls, and any other adjacent surfaces impacted by the installation of the new fire alarm system and removal of the old system. A mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held on the date and time and at the location listed on the Project Schedule. During the meeting, questions will be answered about the Multi-Step Bidding Process. Questions about the project, plans and specifications will also be addressed. Attendance at this meeting is mandatory for Contractors wishing to submit proposals.
