Redevelopment of the existing Whittier Elementary parking lot to include new pavement, striping, accessible parking, pedestrian connectivity, stormwater management/drainage improvements, site lighting, and landscaping. The CONTRACTOR and any subcontractors will be required to obtain registration with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry. Laborers and mechanics must be paid wages as required by the laws of Gallatin County and the state of Montana. Each entity submitting under this invitation must sign and return the required affirmation of non-discrimination and affirm compliance with the Equal Pay Act and Montana Equal Pay Act, including review of the State of Montana Equal Pay for Equal Work best practices. Each bid or proposal must include a Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, or Bid Bond payable to the City of Bozeman, Montana, in an amount not less than ten percent of the total bid. Successful bidders must provide approved Performance and Labor and Materials Payment Bonds, each in the full contract amount. Insurance as required must be provided with a certificate presented. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled opening of bids. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities, postpone the award for up to sixty days, and to accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid in the best interest of the owner.
