Remodeling of a hospitality development in Ashland, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the remodel of a one-story above grade hospitality development.

Sealed Bids will be received for the project Mahoney Lodge Interior Entrance located at Mahoney SP, near Ashland, Nebraska, Cass County. Bids must be submitted on a form supplied with the Bidding Documents and accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total Bid, made payable to the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission as Bid security. A Labor and Material Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract price is required if the total project cost exceeds $15,000. A Performance Bond in the full amount of the contract sum is required if the total project cost exceeds $50,000. No Performance Bond is needed if the contractor accepts a single lump-sum payment when all work is completed and accepted unless the total project cost exceeds $100,000. Bid proposals must be marked "Sealed Bid for Mahoney Lodge Interior Entrance." Bidders may not withdraw their proposal for thirty (30) days after the bid opening. The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities. D. Alternate Bid No. 1: Replace Tile Floor 1. Remove portions of oak baseboard as necessary to replace tile floor, such as along the curved portions of the front desk. Save baseboard for reinstallation. 2. Demolish existing tile floor, the carpet in the Gift Shop, recessed aluminum grille mat, brass electrical receptacles, and existing floor HVAC register grilles. 3. Install new stainless steel electrical receptacles. 4. Verify size of each existing register and install new grille flush with the new tile floor. 5. Install new aluminum grille mat and border. 6. Install new tile edging trim at transition to existing carpet. 7. Install new tile floor, including crack isolation membrane, thinset mortar bed, tile, and grout. 8. Clean up grout and tile. 9. Replace any removed sections of the baseboard. Restore any damage to it. E. Alternate Bid No. 2: Upgrade Replacement Tile 1. Alternate Bid No. 2 will not be accepted unless Alternate Bid No. 1 has been accepted. 2. Omit tile specified for installation under Alternate Bid No. 1. Install tile specified for Alternate Bid No. 2 in its place.
