Removal of refuse from Altona Correctional Facility. Contractor must supply all equipment, materials and labor to remove refuse from site. There is a mandatory site visit required. Question Deadline 12/12/2025 at 1:00 PM ET All inquiries concerning this specification will be addressed to the following Designated Contacts:PRIMARY CONTACT Mona Forett Mona.Forett@DOCCS.NY.GOV, SECONDARY CONTACT Stacy Venne (518) 236-7841 Ext. 3100 Stacy.Venne@DOCCS.NY.GOV BID SPECIFICATIONS / SCOPE OF WORK The facility shall provide accessibility to pick-up points during designated hours (8:30 a.m. 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m. Eastern Time) and will be responsible for snow and ice control and road maintenance. The facility will be responsible for delivering the refuse to the container and abiding by all rules and regulations as set forth by the Clinton County Landfill. Upon expiration of this agreement, whether by lapse of time or prior to termination by either parties, contractor shall remove, within twenty (20) days, all of their equipment and property from the premises of the facility. Upon failure to do so, the facility may cause such property to be removed at the expense of the contractor. Contractor shall leave the premises in good repair and order. The agency has the right to inspect contractors equipment at any time to insure it is adequate for the job. If the contractor fails to submit adequate equipment, contract will be subject to cancellation. Upon demand, proof of all requirements must be submitted. Contractor will be required to have sufficient back up equipment to perform this contract under any adverse or emergency conditions and such equipment must be listed on the equipment list. Vehicles must be operated in a careful and prudent manner regarding safety and in strict compliance with Agency regulations.
