This project is for a traditional breakpoint nutrient reduction wetland. The work involves, but is not limited to, selective clearing, excavation, grading, steel sheetpile installation, tile installation, water control structure and seeding. The project includes approximately 18,700 cubic yards of earthwork, installation of 1,403 square feet of steel sheetpile, water control structure, 385 linear feet of tile installation, 116 linear feet of drawdown pipe, 920 tons of riprap and clean stone, 115 cubic yards of concrete grout and 8.7 acres of seeding. Bidders must be registered with the Iowa Department of Inspections, Appeals & Licensing. Copies of Contract Documents are available through specified website links. To be included on the plan holders list (required to receive minutes, addenda, and updates), interested parties must contact the Division by telephone or email. Successful bidders must furnish a Performance/Payment Bond in the full contract amount. Questions concerning the plans and construction specifications must be submitted in writing to the engineer and copy to the Division. All other questions about the contract documents should be directed to the Division. The Division reserves the right to reject proposals and waive technicalities and irregularities.
