Description

Site work and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Charleston, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a 16,500-square-foot, one-story above grade bridge / tunnel; and for site work for a bridge / tunnel.

Ajax has been awarded the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) - Campus Connector Bridge. The proposed elevated pedestrian link will extend approximately 900 feet from the Ashley River Tower to the Bioengineering Building, creating a continuous second floor circulation route. The project comprises of selective demolition and roughly 16,500 GSF of new construction, inclusive but not limited to exposed concrete columns, glass fiber reinforced concrete rainscreen & metal panel wall systems, aluminum entrances & curtain wall systems, and interior finishes.
