N of TWP 6241 (Jack Pine Rd) and 0.34 Mi. S of CSAH 55 (Two Harbors Brimson Rd) CP 0010-603328, SAP 069-610-011 (Low)(Low Prime); CP 0044-401137, SAP 069-644-031 (Tied); CP 0044-655282, SAP 069- 644-032 (Tied); CP 0044-943982 (Tied) Grading, Bituminous Reclamation, Aggregate Base Class 5 & Bituminous Surfacing Electronic bids must be accompanied by a corporate surety bond in an amount which is at least equal to 5% of the total amount, and may be submitted electronically through online using Surety 2000 or Tinubu, or as a hard copy by mail or other delivery method, either as a corporate surety bond or a certified check made payable to the County Auditor of St. Louis County Contract Start Date: 5/11/2026 Construction Start Date: 5/11/2026 Construction End Date: 8/8/2026 This Work consists of furnishing, installing, maintaining, and removing all traffic control devices required to provide safe movement of traffic and pedestrians through the Project at all times from commencement of the Work until Project Acceptance. Maintain roads and pedestrian facilities undergoing improvements in a condition that accommodates public traffic. Do not close roads or pedestrian facilities, except as authorized. The Engineer may modify the requirements for traffic control as deemed necessary. The Department will maintain Detour Roads established by the Contract Documents for through traffic diverted from the Project unless otherwise indicated in the Plan. All temporary traffic management must conform to and be installed in accordance with: o the "Minnesota Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices" (MN MUTCD); o the "Minnesota Temporary Traffic Control Field Manual" (Field Manual); o the "Speed Limits in Work Zones Guidelines"; o the "Minnesota Flagging Handbook"; o the "MnDOT Standard Signs and Markings Manual"; o the Plan; o all applicable standard Specifications and Special Provisions. This report provides results and recommendations for the Stabilized Full-Depth Reclamation (SFDR) project on County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 44 (Pequaywan Lake Road) in St. Louis County, Minnesota. The project extends from CSAH 37 (Jean Duluth Road) to 0.17 miles north of CR 272 (Barrs Lake Road) and is about 7.05 miles in length. SFDR is scheduled for 2026. As part of our work, we performed material sampling followed by a Pavement Evaluation and Design Recommendation Report, which was provided to the County
