The project consists of a residential roof replacement at 15977 Docken Drive, Milaca, MN. The work includes tearing off and replacing the roofing and includes new drip edge, gutter apron, plumbing vent boots, bath fan cap, valley metal flashing, ice and water protection, and synthetic underlayment. Up to 15 sheets of roof sheathing replacement are included in the base bid, with a unit cost provided for any credit or additional sheathing needed. The work also requires removal of existing passive box vents with patching of openings, installation of a shingle over ridge vent, reinstallation of a satellite dish mount, and cleaning of all gutters with all debris removal handled by the contractor. All products must conform to the 2025 MLBO specification manual. The contractor must secure all required permits and reconnect all utilities affected by the work, repair any damage caused, and all work must comply with pertinent codes and standards. Instructions to bidders include submitting a lump sum proposal (supply and install), complying with Davis Bacon wage requirements, and providing a completed and signed bid form, current MLB vendor's license or application, insurance certificate, subcontractor/material supplier list, valid Minnesota contractor's license, and signed authorized signature sheet. Product substitutions must be approved five days prior to bid. The bidder must be able to mobilize within seven days of the Notice to Proceed, and preference will be given to Indian organizations and Indian-owned economic enterprises. All discrepancies in the scope of work or code compliance must be identified by the contractor.
