Site work for a water / sewer project in Buckingham, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Work includes electrical construction associated with the proposed building of the General Contract. The project is for the Cold Spring Well No. 4 Radon & PFOA/PFOS Removal - Electrical (BT-25-02). All costs incidental to the work must be included in the bid. Products shall be prequalified as "equals" for use on this project as described by the Information to Bidders. Bidder must meet the standards set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. Participation is restricted to bidders who attend and remain for the duration of the mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit. All contractors are required to demonstrate compliance with federal Executive Orders 11625, 12138, and 12432 and EPA Regulations at 40 CFR Part 33, including detailed documentation of solicitation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs). Contractors must demonstrate the Six Good Faith Efforts to identify and solicit DBE firms as potential sources for construction, equipment, services, and supplies, including state qualified small businesses, and minority and women owned business enterprises. Bids will not be accepted from any bidder who does not attend or remain for the duration of the mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit. We are estimating the electrical contract to be between $250,000 and $300,000. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to ENGINEER. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by ENGINEER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all bidders recorded by ENGINEER as having received the Bidding Documents. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. Question Deadline 12/03/2025 at 1:00 PM ET All questions or interpretations of the plans, specifications, or other documents must be given in writing three (3) days prior to bid opening. All questions should be submitted electronically At that time any bidder may ask questions concerning the project. Prior to the meeting all questions shall be directed to Gary Weaver, Project Manager at gary@casval.com. Bids will be opened and (unless obviously non-responsive) read aloud publicly *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
