West Linn-Wilsonville School District (District) is accepting applications from qualified firms for construction management services for repair and renovation across all district facilities as part of the $190 million bond program. The scope of services is initially intended to extend our in-house management capability in developing pre-design budgeting, scheduling and management reporting systems as well as to assist in the development of contracting strategies and priority assessment for each project. The District reserves the right to select and negotiate all or only certain services as provided by the successful firm. The successful firm will work as part of the Bond Management Teamm under the Capital Construction Pro-gram Manager to deliver Capital Improvement projects within bud-get and schedule, while meeting the programmatic requirements of the project. The project manager(s) will coordinate with District staff and consultants during the entire project delivery process; works alongside district Operations and IT staff, supervises architects, engineers, and contractors, and acts as liaison with regulatory agencies. Applicants must have expert knowledge of Oregon Public K-12 construction industry and all applicable codes and regulations. On-site project manager(s) must have an accredited university degree in Construction Management. or related field and 8 years of professional experience. Strong experience and proven ability to assume single-source responsibility@partic-ularly in the design and construc-tion phase of public improvement projects is required. In addition, the position requires excellent verbal. written, and communication skills for report writing, spreadsheets, sched-ules, etc. Applicant must have above average skill in use of computers and related programs. Construction management experience in similar Public K-12 school environments will receive favorable consideration. Experience in using online Enter-prise software will receive favorable consideration. Proposals will be subjected to an internal committee review and evaluation process (ORS 279C.110).
